If people did not change, Covid-19 was not the worst pandemic yet

People must accept changes in the way of life in the future, such as ending wildlife trade, developing technology, changing working habits.

It is worrying that we realize that Covid-19 is not the worst and last pandemic the world has to face. This is just a warning to humankind to change their lifestyle and find other ways to protect themselves more effectively.

If humankind accepts to change the way of life in the future, wildlife trade will be eliminated in order to prevent most of the disease from the beginning. Most diseases originate from them. The ban on wildlife trade will limit their appearance in dense cities.

Preventing wildlife trade does not completely eliminate human exposure to wild-type viruses. However, virologists are searching and researching as many diseases as possible. They estimate that wild animals carry about 750,000 viruses that can infect humans.

Many international projects have been implemented and initially had certain results. As a result, humans can actively prevent and fight diseases.

The Global Virome Project (GVP), formed in 2016 in the United States, is committed to providing detailed knowledge about the viruses that can cause pandemics in the future, just like what the ministry research project is. Human genes have been devoted to medicine.

The Alliance for Disease Prevention Initiatives (CEPI), founded in 2016, is poised to raise hundreds of millions of dollars to develop future-ready vaccines. At the same time, CEPI will store the genetic information set for 750,000 pathogenic viruses in order to shorten the time to produce the vaccine when any pandemic occurs.

Financial funds and disease insurance will be available

Not only vaccines but money also play an important role in preventing diseases.

In the new future of humanity, just a few new cases appear, immediately money will be “released” to control the disease from the first step, through insurance policies. At the same time, specialized funds are activated and respond quickly to disease prevention and control options.

Looking back now, serious financial constraints will make it difficult for leaders of countries to respond to disease outbreaks in time. It is this procrastination that makes the pandemic more difficult to control.

Besides, most companies today depend on the working environment at their offices and offices. So when the Covid-19 pandemic took place, they were completely passive and out of control, causing unemployment to be rampant.

In the future, many companies will have security teams that specialize in disease outbreaks. They will check employee health, evaluate and develop a risk reduction plan if the disease affects. For some other natural disasters like storms, earthquakes, tsunamis … companies have insurance and recovery plans in place. They know how to protect themselves from catastrophic events.

The outstanding development of technology

In the near future, electronic passports will be put into use. We need not be concerned about its security. If a person trusts a few mobile applications to be safe enough to store and use credit card information, e-passports are a breeze.

In addition, the e-passport will be linked to the individual test results, medical status, and the vaccines they have been vaccinated. This new system will help society return to normal status, and provide health officials in every country the fastest information to localize isolation or where the need to increase vaccination.

It is difficult for humanity to be optimistic at the present time. However, we can try to put the Covid-19 epidemic into the social context 20 years ago to see the positive.

At that time, the Internet was limited, no e-commerce service or home delivery. The concept of working remotely is also unknown. The world is not yet fully equipped to detect outbreaks and strains of viruses in a few days, or create a vaccine in just a few months.

Today, thanks to advanced innovations, humanity has the opportunity to identify risks and increase its ability to adapt to disease. From there, we realize that the world needs to continue to innovate to avoid future pandemics. It is also the only future of mankind and needs to proceed now.
