Each team will select a player to compete in the upcoming FIFA game while La Liga takes a break from the Covid-19 epidemic.

According to the Guardian, on the weekends, representatives of each La Liga club will participate in the FIFA competition on the PlayStation platform. Some prominent players who participated in this tournament include Sergi Roberto (Barca), Marco Asensio (Real Madrid) and Adnan Januzaj (Real Sociedad).

FIFA matches will be commented live on television channels in Spain, with the voice of Llanos, the most famous eSports commentator of the country.

All proceeds from the tournament are donated to the medical staff who are involved in the prevention of Covid-19. Initially, this was the idea of Borja Iglesias (Real Betis) and Sergio Reguilon (Sevilla).

“This is the moment that you do something to contribute to the prevention of the disease caused by the corona virus,” Ibai Llanos, head of the FIFA tournament organizer, told El Pais.

In addition, the organizers want to expand the scale of the tournament by allowing Spanish players playing abroad to participate. Typically Cesar Azpilicueta, captain of Chelsea.
