Apple co-founder Steve Wozniack said he and his wife Janet had been tested for Coronavirus after traveling to China earlier this year.
“Janet has had coughs since January 4. We have just returned from China and may have become the No. 1 patient in the United States, ”the co-founder of Apple wrote on Twitter.
According to Twitter sharing, Janet’s coughs began to appear as soon as the two returned from a trip to China. On January 9, Steve continued to post another tweet mentioning he had contracted a mysterious illness from a cruise.
Share of co-founder Apple caused concern in the community because there have been many cases of being diagnosed with corona virus in the US after returning from overseas trips.
Wozniak’s tweet was confusing because he used to make the corona virus joke in the beginning of the year. At that time, the disease did not affect much to the United States, and viewers easily realized it was a joke.
But last Monday’s tweet was posted as the epidemic was complicated in the US and Europe, and Wozniak did not say if this was a joke.
Later, Janet contacted USA Today and confirmed she only had a sinus infection. In the context of thousands of people infected with the corona virus, Mashable said that celebrities should not create more anxiety on social networks.
According to an update on the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) portal, the total number of SARS-CoV-2 positive cases in the country was 43 cases, of which 17 were hospitalized. Washington has announced four more deaths on March 2, bringing the total number of corona virus deaths in the US to 6.
