India recorded the highest increase in a day since the corona virus outbreak in the country, with an increase of up to 26%.

According to an April 4 announcement by the Indian Ministry of Health and Welfare, the number of new cases detected in the past 24 hours was 601, an increase of about 26%.

The total number of corona virus infections in India has reached 3,082, including 86 patients who died, according to statistics from Johns Hopkins University.

The spike has been linked to an event by Muslims in New Delhi in March, CNN quoted an Indian health official as saying. Attendees of the event included both Indian citizens and foreigners.

Lav Agarwal, senior official in India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, reported 647 cases involving mosques in New Delhi. Cases were recorded and isolated in 14 states and territories across the country.

At the beginning of the week, the Indian government announced it would take strong measures against individuals responsible for organizing the event.

“We have heard that so many people from this mosque have come to many places across the country. It’s scary to think of the number of people who could be affected by this incident,” said Delhi region leader Arvind Kejriwa. Just know.

The Covid-19 epidemic is rapidly spreading in India. On April 3, the Mumbai government established eight restricted areas in the Dharavi slum with more than 1 million people living and working after the death of Covid-19.
