The number of Covid-19 infections in Orange County in the US increased to 431

Orange County recorded another 28 positive cases with Covid-19, bringing the total number of cases in this area to 431.

According to the latest figures from health officials, Orange County had 28 more cases of Covid-19 infections on March 29, bringing the total number of cases here to 431.

The day before, the number of cases recorded here was 85.

There is still no explanation for a clear drop in the number of infections over the weekend. As of March 29, Orange County currently has 4 deaths.

The first case of death in this county, reported on March 24, was a male patient over 70 years of age.

According to data, the population aged 45-64 accounts for the majority (38%) of the total number of cases and the number of male patients accounts for 57% of the total number of recorded cases.

Anaheim and Irvine are respectively the two cities with the highest number of cases in the county with 41 and 38 cases while Newport Beach and Huntington Beach recorded 37 and 33 people positive for corona virus, respectively.

Smaller cities such as Stanton or Seal Beach had only 1 case of infection.
