The total number of Covid-19 infections in Germany unexpectedly increased to 543

The Robert Koch Institute, the Federal Center for Disease Control in Germany, announced on March 6 that 134 more people were infected with the Coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 543.

The number of new infections in Germany is only lower than that of China, where the outbreak of Covid-19 occurred, with 9 cases. China’s National Health Commission on March 6 announced a total of 143 new infections in the country.

More than half of the new cases announced by the Robert Koch Institute are concentrated in the western part of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany’s most populous state.

Community infections began to flare up after the first unidentified case was discovered in North Rhine-Westphalia on February 24. So far, Germany has not recorded any deaths due to corona virus infection.

To date, 98,433 cases have been recorded in more than 70 countries and territories worldwide. Most are concentrated in mainland China, where the corona virus outbreak (Covid-19) started in December 2019.

The disease is spreading rapidly in European countries. In Italy, the number of deaths from corona virus in Italy has increased by 41 cases in the past 24 hours in Italy, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 148.

Italy is also the second highest number of Covid-19 deaths in the world, behind only China.

According to the Italian Civil Protection Agency, the number of new deaths and infections in the country has yet to show signs of going down. The total number of corona virus infections in Europe affected by the Covid epidemic was the most severe, reaching 3,858, as of March 5, an increase of 769 cases compared to the figure announced the day before.

In the Netherlands, the number of patients infected with corona virus has more than doubled to 82 cases, from 32 infected a day earlier, according to the National Institute of Public Health of the Netherlands.

The Netherlands first recorded people infected with Covid-19 on February 27.

In Switzerland, the country in the heart of Europe, the first death from corona virus has been recorded, a 74-year-old lady. The country has now recorded 58 virus infections.

Ireland reported its first community infection in the country on March 5, a person without a travel history in Italy. The number of infections also increased from 6 to 13.

Hungary confirmed the third case was a man returning from Milan, Italy. Both previous cases were Iranian students in Hungary.

France has 138 more new infections, bringing the total to 423. The country also recorded 7 deaths, with 3 patients died on 5/3.

He also recorded the first death and the number of cases increased to 115 on March 5. Meanwhile, Spain recorded 234 cases nationwide with 3 deaths.
