Globally, the number of people infected with corona viruses has reached 1,196,553, of which 64,549 died, according to the latest update from Johns Hopkins University data.

Covid-19 has appeared in 205 countries and territories.

The number of cases and deaths recorded on 4/4 increased by 102,485 and 5,762, respectively. A total of 246,108 people have recovered, mostly in China.

The United States is home to the highest number of cases globally, with 305,820 cases, up 27,867 cases from the previous day. The country recorded an additional 1,139 deaths on April 3, bringing the total number of corona virus deaths to 8,291.

New York was the most heavily affected state with 113,704 cases, up 10,841, of which 3,565 died.

Italy recorded 681 deaths from the corona virus on April 4, bringing the total death toll in the country to 15,362.

Newly updated deaths in Italy are less than 86 cases compared to April 3.

Meanwhile, an additional 2,886 new cases were recorded on April 4 – an increase of 546 cases from the previous day, bringing the total number of infections in Italy to 124,632.

An additional 1,238 recovery cases, the total number of patients recovered was 20,996.

The Italian Civil Protection Agency also reported that more than 70 people have been removed from intensive care in the past 24 hours, a record in the day since the outbreak.

On April 3, Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte wrote to the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, calling on the European Union (EU) to be more aggressive in the face of the urgency of the corona virus.

The total number of corona virus deaths in France has reached a new high on April 4 when the country’s government combined with previously not recorded deaths in nursing homes.

The French Ministry of Health reported 441 new deaths from Covid-19 in its hospitals on April 4, lower than the 588 cases recorded a day earlier, bringing the total number of deaths recorded in hospitals. to 5,532.

For the third day in a row, the French Ministry of Health has announced the number of deaths in nursing homes since the beginning of the epidemic in early March, previously not reported. This adds 2,028 deaths to the country’s total, reaching 7,560.

Newly added nursing home deaths account for one-third of all corona virus deaths in France.

“Those slow rising numbers are good news but we want to reduce them. We still have more patients coming to ICU every day, which means more pressure on hospitals,” he said.

Germany adds 6,082 infections in a day

Robert Koch (RKI), the German disease control and prevention agency on April 4, announced 141 more deaths from coronga virus 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths nationwide to 1,158.

The country also recorded 85,778 cases, an increase of 6,082 cases compared to the previous day.

Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Tuesday that there was “a little hope” for Germany as the daily number of new cases and corona virus deaths slowed compared to a few days ago. However, the female leaders emphasized that it was too early to recognize the development trend of the disease and it was not time to relax the epidemic control measures.

Singapore recorded the highest number of infections in a day

Singapore’s Ministry of Health said it recorded 75 new cases on April 4, marking the largest increase in a single day to date.

Currently Singapore has a total of 1,189 cases and 6 deaths from Covid. The total number of recovery cases in this country to date is 282.
